Friends, Family and Well-Wishers,
The adventure begins! Eric and I have set out for a 6 month trip around the world. We left 1 week ago today and will be traveling until mid December. Check back here for more posts about our adventures, tips and information about the places we’re traveling to, and pictures of what we see!
6 months worth of stuff for 2 people
To get started, here is a tentative outline for where we will be going and when:
June 2011
6/12: Fly to Bangkok, Thailand
6/20: Fly to Pnomh Penh, Cambodia
6/21: Bus to Siem Reap, Cambodia (Angkor Wat)
6/25: Boat from Siem Reap to Pnomh Penh, Cambodia
6/26: Bus to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam
6/27-7/8: Travel up the coast of Vietnam (South to North)
July 2011
7/9: Fly from Hanoi, Vietnam to Bangkok, Thailand
7/10: Train to islands in the south of Thailand
August 2011
8/7: Fly from Bangkok to Prague, Czech Republic
8/12-8/19: Berlin, Germany
8/20-8/27: Stockholm, Sweden
8/27-8/30: Gothenburg, Sweden
September 2011
9/1-9/5: Copenhagen, Denmark
9/6-9/22: Italy (everywhere!)
9/23-10/7: Spain (southern)
October 2011
10/8-10/31: Paris, France
November 2011
11/1-11/30: United Kingdom and Scotland (based in London, visits throughout England and Scotland)
December 2011:
12/1: Fly from London to East Coast, USA
12/-12/13: Visit New York City, Boston and family in Maryland
Everything after arriving in Prague is tentative. We know that this will be the general flow of the trip, but we have no set plans for Europe at this point. It’s a wonderful feeling. If we like a city, we’ll stay longer; if we’re ready to move on, we will. We’ll be visiting friends along the way so if we want to spend more time with them or slow down our pace, we can do that as well.

Wow Chels… sounds wonderful (yet a little hectic/over ambitious to get to all those places so quickly!) I have a feeling that you might slow down a little after a few months… maybe that’s just my view on it though. Have a blast and don’t forget to stop and smell the roses ;) Can’t wait for the next update and more pictures! Bisous
